Buckeye Equestrian to Host Friday, Saturday Night Ropings
A Facebook post from Buckeye Equestrian & Events Center in Buckeye, Arizona, promoted “this weekend” at BEEC with “two days” and “two formats,” described as offering “BIG MONEY.”
The post said the event will include Friday and Saturday night ropings in a covered arena.
It added that the venue will have “big ass fans,” describing the conditions as “perfect” for roping.

Juneteenth Marks Freedom Message in 1865
Maricopa County noted that Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas on June 19, 1865 with a message that freedom had come. It said more than 250,000 enslaved African Americans were told they were free, marking the beginning of Juneteenth.
