Buckeye city government said it is collecting school supplies to help local students start the school year strong.

The posting says donations will be accepted through July 17 and that people can drop off items at the City Hall Lobby, The Landing Lobby, any Buckeye Fire Station, and Buckeye Libraries.

The city also said every donation helps equip students with tools needed for a successful school year, and thanked residents for supporting Buckeye families.
