The Scottsdale Fire Department responded to a rescue operation involving a dog that had fallen into an earth tube, a system used for passive heating and cooling. The incident required the assistance of technical rescue teams from Fire Station 610, including Ladder 611 and Engine 610.

Rescue crews utilized a Savox Hasty Searchcam 3000 to locate the dog and employed tools such as rotohammers, air chisels, and a Sawzall to excavate the area. They monitored air quality and ventilated the space to ensure safety during the operation.

After approximately seven hours of effort, Bella, an American Bulldog, was successfully rescued. Bella is described as a beloved family pet.
