Chandler Police Host BE SAFE Interactive Event

Chandler Police Department hosted the third BE SAFE Interactive Event in partnership with the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix and local law enforcement agencies, including Scottsdale Police Department and six additional departments. The event gathered teens, adults, and law enforcement to foster trust and educate the community on managing emergency situations. Activities during the day included conversations, a K9 demonstration, and a simulated traffic stop using ADOT’s Blue Envelope. Officers also participated in training to improve support for the neurodiverse community. Local businesses Target and Papa John’s Pizza provided sponsorship for the event.
