Scottsdale Fire Department Promotes Fire Engineers Watmore, Webster

The Scottsdale Fire Department asked the public to join in congratulating Fire Engineers Tristen Watmore and Zane Webster on their well-earned promotions.

The department said Fire Engineers are responsible for safely driving and positioning fire apparatus, operating pumps and other specialized equipment, and ensuring crews have the water supply and resources needed to manage an incident.

It added that Fire Engineers are also responsible for crew safety while responding to and arriving at emergency scenes. The department said they help assess hazards, position apparatus to protect firefighters and the public, and support incident operations through decision-making and technical expertise.

“Congratulations, Engineers Watmore and Webster, on this important milestone,” the department said, thanking them for their dedication to serving the Scottsdale community.
