Anasazi Elementary School, part of the Scottsdale Unified School District, describes its program as one that challenges students to think deeply, explore boldly, and build skills to thrive in a changing world.

The school said it is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme school. It said it is one of only eight elementary IB World Schools in Arizona, offering what it describes as a globally recognized framework with rigorous academic standards, inquiry-based learning, and an emphasis on developing compassionate, knowledgeable students who make a positive impact in their communities.

Anasazi Elementary is located in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains and serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. The school named two recognitions: an A+ School of Excellence® award from the Arizona Educational Foundation and a National Gold Star School designation from the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
