Phoenix Sky Harbor Celebrates Navigator Program's 25th Anniversary

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Navigator volunteer program. As part of the celebration, the airport is highlighting long-term volunteers who have contributed to the program's success.

Betty Rose, a longtime Navigator volunteer, marked her 24th year of service last month. Betty began volunteering in October 2001 and has since donated more than 9,800 hours assisting travelers. Her role involves offering help and a warm presence to those at the airport.

Before joining the Navigator program, Betty worked in employee benefits and served in public safety for the state’s retirement system. In addition to her work at the airport, she volunteers as an Ambassador at the Little Red House Museum in Scottsdale.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport recognizes the contributions of volunteers like Betty Rose as part of its commitment to providing friendly and helpful services to its travelers. Additional information about the Navigator program is available at skyharbor.com/volunteer/navigators.
