Phoenix Fire Dept Tackles Lithium-Ion Battery Safety

The Phoenix Fire Department met with the Commissioner of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission along with regional fire department partners, including members of the Scottsdale Fire Department and two other departments. The meeting focused on the rising concern regarding lithium-ion battery fires. Representatives from Executive Staff, Data Analytics, Investigations, and Public Affairs participated in the session.
