Celebrating Native American Education and Heritage Month

Scottsdale Schools is featuring the latest episode of SUSD Spotlight, focusing on Native American Education. This episode highlights discussions with Program Coordinator Sheila Cepress and Native Education Specialist Ashley Perea. They talk about the support provided to Native students in the district and efforts to foster cultural pride while encouraging college and career readiness.
In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, a special event will be held tonight at Coronado High School. Attendees will experience an evening dedicated to Native American culture, including a performance by the Yellowbird Dancers.
