Last weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona, two canine teams from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) excelled at the Desert Dog Police K-9 Trials & Public Safety Expo. This event is recognized as the largest police K-9 competition in the country.

Trooper Henson and his K-9 partner Igor, as well as Trooper Whitewater and his K-9 Bruce, competed in the Tactical Obedience category. They demonstrated their proficiency in locating, controlling, and handling a suspect during the trials.

The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association organized the event, which received praise from the participating teams and attendees.
