**Foster Alliance Hosts Book and Sensory Toy Drive for Children in Foster Care**
The Foster Alliance is organizing a Book and Sensory Toy Drive aimed at supporting children in foster care. The drive is taking place at Scottsdale Community College (SCC) as part of October's Disability Awareness Month, led by Disability Resource Services.
The initiative aims to collect new books that feature children with disabilities, ensuring that all children can see themselves represented in literature. Donations of sensory toys will also be accepted.
There are over 10,000 children currently in foster care in Arizona. Community members are encouraged to help by donating new books for toddlers, youth, and teens, or by contributing online.
A monetary donation of $100 will provide a "Birthday Dreams" bag for a child in foster care. Those interested in donating can shop from the Amazon wish list or make a donation online through the provided links.
For more information, visit TheFosterAlliance.org or call 480-889-0604. The collection address is 3110 East Thunderbird Road, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85032.
