The City of Scottsdale is urging residents to take precautions to prevent truck fires by properly disposing of flammable materials. According to a recent post on their social media platform, it is important to keep batteries, chemicals, and combustible materials out of trash and recycling containers.

The city advises citizens to be mindful of the risks associated with flammable items before discarding them. More information on safe disposal practices can be found by visiting ScottsdaleAZ.gov and searching for "HHW" (Household Hazardous Waste).

This initiative aims to enhance fire safety and minimize the chances of fires starting from improperly disposed materials.
